Bearing Capacity

The age old question is the battle between nature and nurture. Technological breakthroughs that helped extend  the environment in the past and therefore increase bearing capacity of the planet to man made activity obviously has to have limits. Reliance on the use of the natural world eventually has consequences, and in recent times the planet is showing serious signs of damage. Apart from many direct damages there are many side effects with negative ecological impacts on the world.

 Investigation of what the current bearing capacity is needed in real time. A historical background is mandatory for an accurate assessment of where the world is headed. All new technologies need to be screened for delivering positive impacts.
