Measurement of the air temperature at ground level is one measurement with which all humans can easily relate. It is a very good quick indicator of Climate Change and Global Warming.

It is not the only indicator as the latent heat of fusion contained in ice, and the embodied thermal inertia in the ocean varying at all levels and the thermal flows in currents. Combined with the thermal inertia of the Earth’s crust it self all qualifies understanding of Climate Change and its complex distribution of influences.
